Birthday Present Container

O.k Post #2 for today:-)

I have had these containers in my "stock" for sometime and I was going to use them for a Christmas wrapping container two years ago to put ornaments I had made with the Outline stamp company stamps and after doing one I never got any further :-) so now I have six containers taking up space and I needed to figure out how to wrap the Magnolia Stamps so this is where the clear paint can container takes on a "new" packaging idea:-) I had the grass so all I did was add the unmounted stamps along the sides, and I had colored a fairy from Susana's site awhile ago and never did anything with her so I used my nestabilities to cut out the scalloped circle behind her and added her to the lid:-) and then just tied ribbons on the handle. I wanted to do more but I think I've gotten the flu from my son Ryan and this is about all the creativeness I could come up with at this moment!

A Birthday Card For My Friend

Well I liked the last card I made before this so much that I redid it to card #2 For a Birthday Card for my friend Lynne, that I met while working at the Scrapbook/rubberstamp store :-) She has taught me quite a bit on the Copic markers and I truly appreciate it! The last card seemed like it needed more so more is what I gave it, I masked the little girl and cat to add the fence, It has more of a 3-d look now, before she was kinda nowhere, hehe so I am much happier with attempt #2:-) punched out sprays of leaves help too!
I colored her with copics, I sponged with PTI Ink and SU Ink, added Bazzill flowers, I used new EK success punches and a Martha Stewart leaf punch, I used DP from DCWV Nanas Nursery and PTI ribbon from my last order. Oh and the cardstock was a piece of Bazzill Bling:-) you can't see it but I added shimmerz angel wings to the fence a bit and two other colors for accents to her clothes. I think Lynne will love what I did ..

Next post in a few minutes will be the container I decorated to put Lynnes "Magnolia unmounted stamps" I got her as her B-day Gift:-)

Copic certified:-)

I had the pleasure of getting to go this past weekend ,with Janene to do the Copic certification In Pa. and had a blast! Lots of fun, loads of fun with Sally Lynne from Copic and coloring all day, what more could i ask for, hehe well I'm glad to have been included in the class(Thank you Janene for your friendship and for believing in me:-)
Copics were something I did not want to add to my sick collection of craft supplies because I already have an arsenal of supplies in my room, but friends of mine twisted my arm:-) No not too much I'm easily lead hehehe and since May I have been hooked and love the effect I can get from them, now I'm certified who would have thought :-) well I wanted to share the news, I was over the top happy to be able to attend!
